personal YOGA CLASSES

In my 12+ years of teaching yoga & meditation, I've learned that the most effective teaching format is in a 1-on-1 setting.

Just me and you, your body/mind, your questions and your own dedicated time on the mat.

Would you like to take your yoga practice to the next level?

How we can work together:

  • Go over essential poses to check you’re 'doing it right'

  • Gain confidence before joining group classes

  • Suit your preferences (dynamic / gentle / a mixture)

  • Design a personalised practice to continue at home

  • Recover from injury

  • Focus on specific areas, e.g. back ache

  • Feel safe, supported & encouraged

  • Receive an effective practice designed especially for you

PERSONAL MEDITATION CLASSES

The world of meditation can seem mysterious and obscure at first. We close our eyes and - then what? There are so many questions (‘what am I supposed to feel?’/ ‘why is my mind so wild?’/ ‘is everyone else doing it better?’) and we can feel silly for asking them.

Private sessions give us the opportunity to look clearly at what meditation is, how it works, which tools are useful and which genuinely work for you. We can keep it plain and simple, e.g. meditation for stress reduction, or we can explore the spiritual context and deeper meaning. Or all of the above. These are your sessions.

The benefits of meditation come with regularity, so we recommend taking a series of sessions. You can book for yourself, or for you and a friend / partner, or even for a private group.

I continually return to Anya as a teacher

She is able to distill and communicate the simple essence of Yoga & guide students to presence with skill, ease & kindness. I cannot recommend studying with her enough

Thank you, thank you, thank you

I really admire the work you do & appreciate your approach to teaching. It is very approachable & relatable.

I also really like how you encourage having a chat & a laugh. I think spirituality can have this cold / negative connotation to it - but your classes always feel very human, which is lovely.
