Over my 15 years+ of teaching yoga & meditation, the benefits of a 1-on-1 setting have been proven time and time again.
Personal sessions are a commitment to your well-being. We have the space to make it your own. We have time for your questions. There’s no pressure of feeling like you have to keep up with anyone else; we go at your pace.
Private sessions can be an investment in a life-long practice, an anchor of support during a challenging phase of life and / or simply a space to ask all the questions you’ve always wanted to.
It could just be you, you and a partner or a small group. Sessions can be in-person, online or a mixture.
Personal Meditation Sessions
The world of meditation can seem mysterious and obscure at first. We close our eyes and - then what? There are so many questions (‘what am I supposed to feel?’/ ‘why is my mind so wild?’/ ‘is everyone else doing it better?’) and we can feel silly for asking them.
Private sessions give us the opportunity to look clearly at what meditation is, how it works, which tools are useful and which genuinely work for you. We can keep it plain and simple, e.g. meditation for stress reduction, or we can explore the spiritual context and deeper meaning. Or all of the above. These are your sessions.
The benefits of meditation come with regularity, so we recommend taking a series of sessions. You can book for yourself, or for you and a friend / partner, or even for a private group.

Filip’s Story
Filip (age 45) booked a series of 10 x private classes with me during a challenging phase of life. After seeing the benefits he booked a second series with me. Here’s his experience in his own words:
‘‘I worked with Anya after a tumultuous time in my life.
I've been a yoga sceptic for most of my life, but the private classes with Anya were so transforming that I am now, four years on, a regular practitioner.
In our sessions, I felt very safe and seen, and Anya adapted to me 100%. She saw both my limitations and my strengths, and the classes became deeper as we progressed.
For me, there was also a great benefit of not feeling like I had to perform in a group setting, but that I could relax and develop at my own pace. Having the classes in the privacy and safe space of my own home also helped.
One clear memory of our work together is etched in my mind. Lying in a side stretch, I started to cry out of relief (and some deep stretching) as I realized how much tension had built up in my body during the pandemic and the aftermath of losing my mother.
