Meditations for Connection in Chaotic Times


A new 6-week series for grounding & connection in times of conflict & overwhelm

The current world stage is distressing and chaotic. Everywhere we look there is uncertainty, polarisation, fear…

For me personally, I keep finding myself looking for some goodness, some humanity and meaning. Where are the trustworthy leaders? Where can I find human connection to help me exhale and ground a little bit?

Although it can feel inappropriate to take care of ourselves when so many people can’t, staying connected with ourselves and each other are critical to staying sane right now.

So, I want to offer six meditation evenings for a weekly anchor of connection and grounding.

Each session will include centering guided meditation, reflective journaling and relaxed connection with each other.

They are for everyone who longs to stay grounded and human in these chaotic times.

A pressure-free, weekly space to re-connect with ourselves and each other. Not to escape the world but to meet it with presence and compassion. To slow down enough to listen in.


Our practice is one of ‘’tuning in, not tuning out’’. Not avoidance, but meeting reality as it is. Sitting with the discomfort as well as the beauty. Being with it all. When we honestly acknowledge what’s present, it tends to shift. Space starts to open up. This is, for me, the great beauty of meditation

We’ll tend to the parts that may feel numb, overwhelmed and longing for connection. We’ll remember that, even in a chaotic world, we are still human. 


Each session will be fairly simple; the intention is less to explain theory this time and more to slow down together and anchor into presence. I’ll guide it lightly with gentle reminders of mindfulness, leaving plenty of space for what’s moving in you, week-to-week.

Whether you’re a seasoned meditator or brand new, you’re welcome to come exactly as you are. My hope is that we'll all leave a little softer, steadier & more whole.
